What do we mean on our menu offering by ‘’small plates’’ ‘’ tapas’’ and ‘’sides’’?

Small plates are exactly that, smaller portions of menu items, meant to be ordered on a rolling basis throughout your meal, shared amongst your guests at your table, so everyone gets a taste. Guests are encouraged to order at least 3-4 small plates to accompany 3 tapas for a table of 2.

Tapas were originally from Andalucia, and free small bites often salty or spicy in nature offered by drinking establishments to encourage more drinking. They have since evolved to become slightly bigger and guests are encouraged to order many to share from 6 to 9 dishes for a table of 2 to make up to a full meal size each, whilst having the opportunity to taste many dishes together.

Sides are exactly that, a side accompaniment to compliment your small plate or tapas, such as a portion of fries, bread etc.
